When we last spoke we discussed creating a "purity/abstinence" bracelet for the T2C mentoring program. Well we need to start raising funds so that we can order this one-of-a-kind creation in time for Christmas delivery!
There are two ideas I'd like to share, but both will require YOUR FULL commitment, participation and support.
The 1st -- is a Tiara's Trattoria. We will recreate a festive Italian style restaurant right in our very own fellowship hall. (End of July timeframe) We will sell tickets for a scrumptious spaghetti dinner and dessert. This event can raise about $800.
The 2nd -- is a T2C Ice-cream Social. We will again create a light refreshing atmosphere in our fellowship hall and sell ice-cream dessert during a Mid-Summer Evening this coming August. We can probably raise another $500 from that event.
I expect the bracelets to cost around $100 -- so both of these fundraising activities should certainly cover this cost.
We need to get moving!
We will also need to raise funds for some summer outings/trips. The SKY is the limit. You all will decide how high we go!
